From the outside looking in you could never understand it; from the inside looking out you can never explain it.
A Little Bit About Us...
Kariatethes, a literary society, was founded in 1957. It was officially recognized in 1959 by the Wisconsin State University at Platteville. In 1965, Kariatheses became Kappa Alpha sigma. Since then, the Kappa Alpha Sigma sorority has promoted their seven virtues: love, hope, charity, honesty, loyalty, obedience and self help. We try to better our campus in every way we can.
The flower is the pink tea rose.
The jewel is the ruby.
The Kappa Alpha Sigma brother fraternity was Lambda Sigma Pi.
The current Kappa Alpha Sigma House is located at 520 W. Main St, Platteville, WI.
Our motto is "Loyalty Always, Sisterhood Forever."

These letters don't make me better than you, they make me better than I used to be.
Do you have pictures from past years you want to submit to the sorority? We'd love to have them for our Facebook and our website. Please submit them to the form on the right! |
